How do I get connected?
  • Attend one of our weekly worship services  where you will be motivated to worship God and challenged by the truth from His Word.
  • Fill out a guest registration that is found in the worship folder handed to you as you enter the building by one of our greeters.
  • Come to the Hospitality Room after the worship service to meet our Pastor and his wife.
  • Attend one of the Membership Classes to find out more information about our vision and purpose.

How do I become a member of the Church at Trophy Lakes?
Present yourself for membership after the sermon during altar ministry in any worship service.

Why would I become a member of the Church at Trophy Lakes?
In a culture where the word “commitment” seems to be out of favor, we still believe there are good reasons why active local church membership is essential for spiritual formation for people who seek to be genuine followers of Jesus Christ.
  1. A biblical reason – Christ is committed to His church and actively commands his followers to not neglect the assembling of themselves together (Ephesians 5:25; Hebrews 10:25).
  2. A spiritual reason – The spiritual world is very real and the public commitment of membership brings one in proper order and authority in the spiritual world (Hebrews 13:17).
  3. A cultural reason – It is an antidote to our “lone-ranger” society. Membership goes against the current “consumer religion” mentality that prevails in our society. (Romans 12:1-2).
  4. A practical reason – Every organization must have some form in order to accomplish its goals. Membership identifies who can be counted on (Romans 12:4-5).
What is expected from a Member?
There are several important expectations with membership at Trophy Lakes
  1. Each member is committed to attending one weekly service.
  2. Each member is faithfully giving in tithes and offerings.
  3. Each member is consistently serving in one area of ministry.
  4. Each member is faithfully contributing to a Life Group.
At the conclusion of every worship service there is a ministry time when the Pastor and his wife make themselves available for prayer and the recognition of any spiritual decisions. Please feel comfortable to present yourself to them during that time for membership or any other spiritual decision.
